Preparing for the TABE

Practicing the TABE Test Navigation

The TABE test is a computer-based assessment, and all answers will be submitted online through software developed by DRC Insight, the test’s publisher. We recommend you practice using this online software so you are familiar with it and don’t become overwhelmed on your testing day.

Please note that the TABE Online Tools will only work in Google Chrome – other browsers may not be supported.  Visit the DRC Insight website, Choose the TABE 13/14 Online Tools link which leads you to links for Reading, Mathematics and Language. Click on your desired subject link, click Level A or D and choose the “Standard” or “Audio” choice. Please note, you do not need to create an account to use this tool: there will be a generic username and password listed on the login screen to enter and use for the navigation tutorials.

We recommend you practice all three subjects as the navigation tools are slightly different from each other.
