About the HESI-A2 Entrance Exam

HESI-A2 Testing Fees

  • Students are required to take the HESI-A2 entrance examination for the RN Program and the LPN Program.
  • The Dept. of Nursing can accept HESI-A2 scores from other institutions following the established policies of the PSC Testing Center.
Schedule Test

RN Program

  • Students must take the following sections of the HESI-A2: Reading Comprehension, Math, Anatomy & Physiology (A&P), Grammar and Vocabulary.
  • Students must achieve a minimum score of 75% on each of the 5 sections required.

LPN Program

  • Students must take the following sections of the HESI-A2: Reading Comprehension, Math and Vocabulary.
  • Students must achieve a minimum score of 65% on each of the 3 sections required.

Registration

  • Students MUST create an account at https://evolve.elsevier.com in order to take the HESI-A2 exam.
