In accordance with section 1004.91, Florida Statues, some students may qualify for a TABE exemption by earning certain industry certifications.
If a student is required to take the TABE but is unable to meet the minimum score for their program of study after remediation, they can complete one of the certifications listed here to qualify for program completion.
To receive an exemption, students can submit a copy of their industry certification by emailing it to our TABE coordinator, Erin Roush at eroush@pensacolastate.edu. If they have completed the requirements of their program and have paid all of the necessary fees, this will make them eligible to receive their diploma/certificate.
The attached document is a list of the programs currently offered at PSC, along with the qualifying license/certification. (2)
