The Florida Civic Literacy Exam (FCLE) is part of the civic literacy competency requirement passed by the Florida Legislature (SBR6a-10.02413 – Civic Literacy Competency). The Civic Literacy requirement ensures that students graduating from the Florida College System or State University System institutions have demonstrated a good working knowledge or competency of Civics / American Government.
