The Testing and Assessment Department supports the mission, philosophy and vision of Pensacola State College by offering comprehensive testing and assessment services to students, academic departments, and the local community.
The PSC District Testing Office (Pensacola Campus) holds memberships with the National College Testing Association (NCTA) and the Florida Association of College Test Administrators (FACTA).
NCTA is dedicated to the promotion of professionalism and quality in the administration of testing services and programs, including issues relating to test administration, test accessibility, test development, test scoring, and assessment. View NCTA Testing Standards
FACTA actively advocates and supports the National College Testing Association’s (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines. Our mission is accomplished by working in partnerships with the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE), the Florida Board of Governors (BOG), Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF), and testing agencies while keeping the needs of the employee’s institution at the center of decision making.
The PSC District Testing Office adheres to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines which ensures that examinations are administered professionally, equitably and fairly in a courteous, confidential and secure environment.
